We offer a full repair service to any hydraulic cylinder, our knowledge gained from new manufacture enables us to also reverse engineer most equipment bring old back to new.
We work very closely with a specialist shaft re coating company which can handle piston rods up to 14 meters in length.
Our services are all-embracing, and include:
- On-site work can be carried out and will include risk assessment, health saftey assessment for all the work required, removal and re-fitting of cylinders and power units will be carried out by our fully trained engineers.
- Dismantling and cleaning of all components followed by an extensive technical report including photos and recommendations to enable us to quote for the work required.
- Straightening and recoating of rods which can include metal spraying re grinding and coatings.
- Re Designing sealing systems, re machining and/or supply of new mounting parts including Spherical eyes, clevis eyes, flanges and trunnions.
- Re-assembly, pressure test and certification.

We carried out site survey to establish work required. Produced a Risk Assessment and Action of Works Plan to enable us to remove two 100 year old actuators which were transported to our workshops for full assessment and scope of work required to return the actuators back into service.

Full refurbishment of TMIV Actuators work included new piston rods, new cylinder casing, re-work of all end-caps, fitting of new lubrication bushes and new sealing systems.
